I have a doubt about the following guideline:
“Data transformations and carefully chosen graph aspect ratios can be used to emphasize rates of change for time-series data”.
Is this guideline in conflict with the Guidelines “Lie factor” and “Correspondence Principle”? In what condition, a data transformation does not produce a lie or distortion as said in the other two guidelines?
